AIA Vitality is an innovative, science-backed health and wellness program that seeks to promote better lifestyles for its users.
Adopting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is often the first step to combating some of the mental health issues experienced by tradies. Because of this, AIA Vitality will be promoting healthiness in everyday life as part of this initiative.
“We consider health and wellness to be important to everyone’s lives, and certainly to those currently struggling with mental health issues. We’re glad to be given the opportunity to help out those currently feeling helpless in the NZ trade industry.”
BBT is an Auckland-based digital agency that combines software development and digital strategy, design and marketing to help businesses succeed in the digital landscape.
They have gladly partnered with AIA on this initiative and will head up the development and building out of technical systems behind the scenes, and will enable any digital capabilities required for this project.
“It’s fantastic to be apart of something so important, and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about lending our efforts to help combat an issue that affects so many Kiwis presently”.
HazardCo is NZ’s largest provider of construction site health and safety resources, including their innovative H&S app and online hub which has made keeping NZ tradies safe at work easier.
On-site accidents are one of the leading causes of mental health troubles in the trade industry, so HazardCo will be offering help and advice on avoiding workplace-related injuries.
“We’ve been passionate about keeping NZ workers safe since we first started in 2007, but we believe that this is a unique opportunity to help create some real change amongst NZ tradesmen and their overall wellbeing, and we couldn’t be happier to be on board.”
TAP (also known as The Adviser Platform) is an organisation that assists independent financial advisers in growing their business, as well as providing them with both tools and support.
Over the years, TAP has built up a strong relationship with a nation-wide network of financial advisers. They will be offering the services of these advisers to provide free advice to tradies currently struggling with financial concerns during this difficult time.
“Running a business can be difficult, even at the best of times. We’re happy to be able to help out tradies that might be going through a rough patch and hope that this is the start of a wider conversation about a very pressing issue”.
We know times are tough. We recognise that tradies now more than ever are working in a demanding industry that faces a challenging future.
